Negret is a specialty coffee brand sourcing beans from the finest farms around the world to deliver a unique experience for refined palates. Its name, inspired by the Catalan word negre (black) in its diminutive form, refers to the deep color of coffee and the care put into its preparation. The visual identity is built around a palette combining the deep black of espresso, the light brown of its perfect crema, and the reddish hue of coffee cherries at origin. Negret aims to connect with a young, curious audience with a refined taste, who see coffee as both a ritual and a form of self-expression.
For Negret, I’ve developed a visual identity that captures the essence and quality of a modern yet approachable specialty coffee brand. The project included brand and logo design, creation of cohesive and distinctive visuals, as well as packaging and merchandise design. The result is afun and accessible brand that appeals to a young, coffee-passionate audience.
