Sinibald de Mas is a cultural institution with a long-standing history, whose activities and content are primarily aimed at an adult audience, with a core user age range between 40 and 70 years old.
The client approached me to completely redesign their website, as the previous version was visually outdated, difficult to use, and highly dependent on technical support, with no real option for self-management. The main goal of the project was to rebuild the website from the ground up, modernising its visual identity while placing strong emphasis on usability and ease of use, both for visitors and for the internal team.
The project was approached with a user-centred and accessibility-focused mindset, carefully considering the needs and digital habits of the target audience. A clean, clear and structured interface was designed, prioritising readability, visual hierarchy and intuitive navigation.
After several initial meetings to define goals, structure and content needs, a first design version was created in Figma, covering both UI and UX aspects. Once the design was approved, the website was developed in WordPress, allowing for a fully self-manageable system.
The website was structured so the client could easily manage:
– Blog posts and content updates
– Calendar changes and event management
– Image uploads and visual content publication
After the implementation phase, final revisions and adjustments were made based on client feedback to ensure the website met both functional and visual expectations.
The overall process was fast and efficient, supported by clear and continuous communication with the client. I currently continue to collaborate on this project, providing regular updates and improvements every two months, ensuring the website remains up to date and scalable over time.
